very-inspiring-blog-awardI was very surprised and honored yesterday when I saw Lillie at {Bookraptured} nominated me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. It’s very nice to be thought of for these kinds of awards. For all of them. Thank you so much, Lillie. This started as a simple side project that I have grown to love. I am so happy to know that I have inspired somebody. It makes my day, week, and everything! Thanks so much! You all are so great to have around.

Here are the rules for this blogger award:

1. Thank and link the amazing person who nominated you.

2. List the rules and display the award.

3. Share seven facts about yourself.

4. Nominate 15 other amazing blogs and comment on their posts to let them know they have been nominated.

5. Optional: Proudly display the award logo on your blog and follow the blogger who nominated you.

Seven Randomย Facts About Me:

  1. I love listening to songs on repeat. Right now I have Sylvan Esso’s song Coffee on repeat. Throughout today, it was Damien Rice’s Volcano.
  2. I have officially opened my etsy shop. I’m a shop owner!! I can’t believe. I was going to do a big announcement, I still might, but here seemed like a good place, too. Check it out here (shameless plug!)
  3. I am a proud member of the Jane Austen Society of North America. Just don’t call me a Janeite. That term makes me cringe.
  4. I wrote my thesis on Jane Austen and Ann Radcliffe. Jane Austen was preferred.
  5. I plan on getting my first tattoo in the fall. It’s going to be a feather above my right ankle for Emily Dickinson’s Hope is the thing with feathers poem. And, just to remind me to have hope all the time. My second one will be I am infinite, for The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
  6. I can’t help but cry at romcoms. Even and especially at the theaters. I’m thankfully not loud, though.
  7. I designed a pair of converse that say, “You’re not a slogan, you are poetry.” based on the quote from 28 days with Sandra Bullock. She says Don’t ever be someone’s slogan, because you are poetry. It is perhaps my favorite quote ever.

I’m only nominating five AWESOME bloggers I think you should know/follow because I don’t follow many blogs (bad, I know. I’m trying to follow lots more. And I’ve nominated quite a bunch of them already).

I know some of you might be busy but I hope you have the time to accept ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy reading and thanks for stopping by.
