I am very excited to be attending the Book Expo of America in NYC this year for the second year in a year; this time, however, I will be attending as a blogger which allows me to participate in all the action. More books, more authors to meet and greet, and more books! I been impatiently checking the website daily for more information on what’s happening, who’s going, and what books are going to be featured. Finally, less than a week it was announced who some of the authors attending this year’s conference are. A lot of the names I didn’t know, but for the ones I did, I was excited. If you haven’t checked out the list yet and are attending, here’s a little sneak peek at who will be doing book signings.
A.S. King, author of Reality Boy
Amy Zhang, author of Falling in Place (to be released)
Daisy Whitney, author of When You were Here
Elizabeth Wein, author of Code Name Verity
Garth Nix, author of Abhorsen series
Jennifer Armentrout, author of the Lux series
Jennifer Donnelly, author of The Tea Rose seriesand (one of my personal fav.s) A Northern Light
Lauren Oliver, author of the Delirium series
Libba Bray, author of the Diviners series
Megan McCafferty, author of one of my favorite series Jessica Darling
M. J. Rose, author of the series Reincarnationist
and so many more…
I am most excited for Megan McCafferty because I love her Jessica Darling series so much. I have read some of the books more than once.
For all of you going, who are you most excited for? What I’m really waiting for, is the release of what books will be there that will be posted on their website hopefully by late April/ early May. I am very excited. I hope to see some of you there!!
Happy reading!!!

I have been trying to figure out who I want to have autograph a book while I’m there on May 31, and I have no frickin clue. Now I wish I was able to go the other two days so I could spend those days pretty much just having books autographed and then admire *cough*get*cough* as many books as possible on Saturday.
Curse having to work! Though I do like the money….
Apr 03, 2014 @ 14:05:27
Yeah I don’t know who will be there on what days. The authors are only there for one specific day. I’m looking forward to seeing the actual schedule. It sucks you can’t go all days. I understand. If I have a job by then I’m still requesting off. I’m not missing it. Saturday will still be super fun.
Apr 03, 2014 @ 14:37:32
Yeah, that’s part the problem, not knowing who will be there when – I don’t want to make a list with my number 1 priority and then find out they’re not there on Saturday.
I would be so much tempted to take off if I didn’t have a)such a limited number of vacation days and b)family visiting the end of June for my great-uncle’s 100th. Why is everything happening this year?!?!
But I’m still so glad I get to go on Saturday 😀
Apr 03, 2014 @ 15:29:33
Saturday will be so much fun. There will be tons to do anyway. I can always try to see if I can do a signing or two for you on the other days if I have time if they are your top. No guarantees though.
Apr 03, 2014 @ 15:41:29
Ooh, that would be awesome, thank you!
Also, are we allowed to bring our own books or is it where we can only have what’s there signed? Cause knowing that will help me narrow my list down XD
Apr 03, 2014 @ 15:43:03
Only what’s there if it’s at a stage. If it’s at a publisher’s booth they won’t say anything if it’s not busy.
